The Most Expensive Cars For The Year 2021

The most expensive cars on the planet are not widely accessible and you are not going to see them very often. In fact, the general individual may not even know they exist. It’s the car enthusiasts who are in the know, while it’s the wealthy that can purchase these extremely expensive and very limited vehicles. The rest of us have to just sit back and dream.

The vehicles on this list are as pricey as museum-quality artwork and carry names like Koeneggsegg and Pagani just to name a few. Brands like Bugatti and Aston Martin are also represented. Most of them can reach speeds of up to 200+ mph and some are limited to production units in the double- or single-digits even. This makes them extremely pricey and out of range of the general consumer. Royalty, celebrities and business tycoons are the customers buying these cars.

Who knows where you might see these, but if you do, don’t even attempt to race them. You won’t win and you could be involved in a car accident. Whenever or wherever this may happen, contact a lawyer from the state to offer the best insight on next steps. This could be an accident lawyer Cherry Hill NJ or accident lawyer nyc. State laws may vary, so advice should be given by an expert.

For the following cars, we’re just looking at production models here, not racecars or one-offs.

McLaren Speedtail

Price: $2.25 million

The McLaren Speedtail follows the brand’s legendary McLaren F1 and is part of its Ultimate Series. The hypercar’s emphasis is on speed. Although specifics are few, the futuristic hypercar is expected to produce over 1,000 horsepower thanks to a hybrid engine with speeds to  exceed 250 mph.

The hypercar has a sleek aerodynamic shape and features a glass canopy on the top. It also has a one-of-a-kind seating configuration, with the driver in a center-mounted seat in front and space for two passengers behind. The dashboard has electrical instruments along the length of it. Plus, customers can customize it drastically, from particular carbon fiber designs to individual paint and leather treatments.

Pininfarina Battista

Price: $2.5 million

With the completely electric Battista, Italian carmaker Pininfarina enters the hypercar competition. Owned by Mahinda, an Indian manufacturer best known for off-road cars, the Battista is claimed to be the most powerful street-legal vehicle ever built in Italy. It’s electric engine generates 1,900 horsepower and can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in under two seconds. Pininfarina claims it has a range of 280 miles.

It has a Ferrari-like, carbon fiber body, while the doors swing forward and upward. At the back, there’s a big twin-panel wing. Since it’s electric, it doesn’t make the loud sounds of its gas-powered counterparts, but it does have an option to pipe in a variety of fake engine noises into the inside.

Mercedes-AMG Project One

Price: $2.7 million

Mercedes has called this beast of a vehicle a mix of “science and spirit”. The Mercedes-AMG Project One is the closest thing to a street-legal Formula One racer. The supercar’s curves give it the appearance of speed even while it is still. It features an F1-style rectangular steering wheel with integrated controls and a gear-select display, as well as two 10-inch high-resolution screens, are included on the inside.

A hybrid engine features a turbocharged 1.6-liter engine that is paired with four independent electric motors, giving it over 1,000 horsepower. There’s also an eight-speed manual gearbox. The max speed, you ask? 217 mph, according to the manufacturer. Unlike most sports vehicles, Mercedes claims that the Project One can accelerate from zero to 124 mph in under six seconds when the Race Start feature is activated.
